Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept Visa, Mastercard. Swtich and Delta credit cards.

Shipping And Handling

We currently offer FREE P&P for all orders within Mainland UK. For postage outside of mainland UK including Northern Ireland, Rep of Ireland, Channel Islands or Scottish islands/highlands please contact us before placing any orders.

The time between order and despatch varies according to the stock availability of each product ordered. Please check the individual product pages for more information.

NEXT WORKING DAY DELIVERY IS ONLY AVAILABLE ON STANDARD SIZE/SPECIAL OFFER DIRT TRAPPER MATS AND IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING - IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO UK MAINLAND CUSTOMERS, SOME AREAS IN SCOTLAND WILL TAKE A DAY OR SO LONGER. IT IS NOT AVAILABLE TO CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE OF THESE AREAS. THE ORDER MUST BE PLACED BEFORE 1PM TO GET IT THE NEXT WORKING DAY.

EXAMPLE 1

AN ORDER PLACED BEFORE 1PM ON MONDAY-THURSDAY WILL USUALLY BE RECEIVED BY 6PM THE FOLLOWING DAY.

EXAMPLE 2

AN ORDER PLACED AFTER 1PM ON MONDAY WILL USUALLY BE RECEIVED BY 6PM ON WEDNESDAY. AFTER 1PM ON TUE DELIVERY THUR AND SO ON. HOWEVER ORDERS PLACED AFTER 1PM ON THURSDAY WILL NOT BE DELIVERED UNTIL MONDAY.

EXAMPLE 3

ORDERS PLACED AFTER 1PM FRIDAY WILL NOT BE DELIVERED UNTIL THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY.

WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS OR ANY TIME WHEN WE ARE CLOSED ARE NOT WORKING DAYS, PLEASE TAKE THIS INTO ACCOUNT WHEN ORDERING.

PLEASE NOTE THAT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY DELIVERY CHARGES BE REFUNDED SHOULD OUR COURIER/ROYAL MAIL FAIL TO DELIVER ON TIME.

You can cancel your order at any time up until it is dispatched by contacting us via phone or email except for CUSTOM CUT MATS AND CUSTOM COMMERCIAL MATS. These cannot be cancelled for any reason.

We use Interlink express/Royal Mail for certain orders that require a signature, if you ask for the parcel to be left without being signed for any compensation claims will be void if the parcel is lost or stolen. We cannot accept any responsibility if you ask us to put a note on your parcel to be left when you are not there.

If you have not received your item with in the time scale shown above you must inform us within 7 working days from the last working day of our delivery schedule. We will then contact our courier.

It is the customers responsibility to provide the correct delivery address.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Vat

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero .

Credit Card Security

We use a company called Sagepay to handle all of our Credit Card Payments.

Why?

Sage Pay is fully approved as a Level 1 compliant provider under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This is the highest level of compliance that can be achieved.

Sage Pay were audited by an independent third party company, Trustwave, who are an official Visa Qualified Security Assessor.

What does all the above actually mean? in a nutshell it means you can shop safely and securely with us.

Guarantee

Where a product is given with a guarantee this only covers faults or manufacturing defects and not wear and tear under any circumstances. If a fault occurs through misuse or abuse (including washing/drying) the guarantee is null and void, also if any alterations are made to the mats in anyway such as cutting the guarantee will become void.

Privacy Policy

We do not pass your personal information to anyone else.Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.

Returns Policy

We believe you will be delighted with your purchase but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible! If for any reason you are unhappy with your goods, simply return them in the original packaging within 14 days of despatch and we will give you a full refund or replace the item. (30 days for Dirt Trapper, 14 days for Mudscraper)

The despatch note must be included in the package.

Once the items are received at our warehouse we will take the necessary steps to action a refund within 14 days and send you a confirmation e-mail.

Reasonable costs on delivery charges will only be refunded if the return is a result of our error or if the product is faulty.

To cancel you can email us, or write to us (see contact us for details) within seven days of delivery of your items, quoting your order number. You must take care of the items and must not use them. Orders must be returned unused complete with the original packaging.

Sometimes the product specifications from the manufacturer may change, in which case we will do our best to offer you a substitute of the same or better quality at the same price. If you are not happy with the replacement you can return it in accordance with our 14 day money back guarantee.

The above process must be followed to ensure a refund is actioned.

PLEASE NOTE THAT CUSTOM CUT DIRT TRAPPER MATS AND ALL CUSTOM MADE COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS ARE EXEMPT FROM OUR 30 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE AND CANNOT BE EXCHANGED OR REFUNDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, PLEASE SEE PRODUCT PAGE FOR FURTHER INFO.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Undelivered Parcels

If our couriers cannot deliver your parcel because you are unavailable to sign for it or haven't responded to a calling card or have provided incorrect address details the parcel is returned to us at a cost of £20. Before we redeliver this charge must be made to us in full by credit/debit card. If you decide to cancel the order the charge will be deducted from the orignal order price. IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILTY TO ENSURE THEY ARE AVAILABLE TO RECEIVE ORDERS SENT. If you ask for the parcel to be left or delivered to a neighbour if you are unable to sign for it this is done so purely at your own risk and neither Tried & Tested (UK) Ltd or our courier can be held responsible if the item goes missing.

Disclaimers

Although every effort is made to ensure accuracy it cannot be guaranteed. Prices, colours, sizes, photographs, products can change without notice and are only intended as a guideline. Mat sizes are approx. Gripper backings only reduce movement and this reduction can vary depending on the type of carpet and thickness of the pile. PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILST WE ARE HAPPY TO SEND SAMPLES OF THE DIRT TRAPPER MATS WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THE COLOUR SAMPLE SENT WILL ALWAYS MATCH THE MAT YOU RECEIVE, THIS IS ESPECIALLY RELEVANT ON LIGHTER COLOURS AND NON PRE-WASHED MATS.
